Merging a Prototype with the Base Object

Follow these steps to merge a prototype document with a base object.

Open the prototype document that you want to merge.
From the Object menu, select Merge with base object. For example,

A confirmation dialog appears.
Click Yes to start the merging process.
When the job is complete, click Finish. The file and attributes for the document revision is updated based on the file and attributes registered with the prototype.

The new document revision document is automatically registered with ProjectWise and contains all the changes merged from the prototype document, for example,

and is visible from the ProjectWise change request folder in AssetWise ALIM Web, for example,
