Importing Comment Responses

You can import comment responses from AssetWise ALIM Web so that they will be visible in AssetWise ALIM for Transportation.

Follow these steps to import comment responses.

Log in to AssetWise ALIM Web as a user with System Information/Data Maintenance permissions.
From the Navigation pane, select Bulk Import from the list.
In the Import menu group, select Import comments.
The Comment Import Utility page appears.
Do one of the following:

Drag and drop the response spreadsheet file onto the Comment Import Utility page

or
Click New....

The file name and its upload status appears on the screen. For example,
Repeat Step 4 for each file that you want to import.
When finished, an email is sent to you with the subject "Comments Tracking Import complete".
Note: Regardless of whether the export was successful, an email with the subject line: "Comments Tracking Import complete" is sent to you. The content of the email indicates the status of the import, including an attached detailed log file.

If the import was successful, the responses appear within the Comment data, in AssetWise ALIM for Transportation.
