Updating a Protoype Document in ProjectWise

When a prototype document is registered with ProjectWise using the AssetWise ALIM ProjectWise Connector, you can access the document directly from AssetWise ALIM Web in order to make changes to it.

In AssetWise ALIM Web, open the prototype document that contains the file that is registered with ProjectWise.
From the ProjectWise Locations topic, click the document link.
A confirmation dialog appears. For example,
Click Open ProjectWise Explorer. ProjectWise opens and navigates directly to the prototype document.
Right-click the file and select Properties. The Properties dialog appears, open to the General tab.
You can select the Attributes tab to view attributes that have been transferred over from AssetWise ALIM Web to ProjectWise.
When you are finished, close the Properties dialog.
You can check out the file in ProjectWise in order to make changes to it, and then save the changes, and then when you are finished, close ProjectWise.
In order to synchronize the ProjectWise changes with AssetWise ALIM Web, open the project in AssetWise ALIM Web, and from the Object menu, select Synchronize Data. The system updates the mapped attributes for the prototype document.
