Creating a Transmittal

Once a distribution order has been packaged and its status is Approved, you can create the transmittal.

Follow these steps to create a transmittal, in AssetWise.

Open the distribution order for which you want to create a transmittal.
From the Object menu, select Create Transmittal. The Create Transmittal dialog appears.
Enter your response to whether you are sure you want to autocreate/fill all the Distribution Items associated to your selected distribution order. Your choices are:

Yes - The transmittal is added to the Transmittal topic on the Distribution Order page

or
No - The Unassigned Items topic on the Distribution Order page expands so that you can select each item and remove it from the transmittal.

When the transmittal is created, you can proceed to commit the transmittal.
