Sending Emails

You can send an email from AssetWise ALIM Web to any person in the community who has an email address as part of their user account information. This is useful when you have exposed one or more objects in the Content pane, and you want to send them out as an email attachment. In general, the Send Email option is present in the Object menu.

You can also originate email messages from your Basket, and place your frequent e-correspondents in the Basket for easy retrieval.

You can add to your recipient list using any of these three options:

Enter names and numbers
Select objects from Basket
Use the Search.

From the Object menu, select Send Email.

The Send Email page appears. For example,
Select to add one or more Recipients.
Enter an E-mail subject.
Note: This field is required.
Enter the Message Text.
Note: This field is required.
Select one of the following options for File Attachments:

Don't attach any of the related files (default)

or
Attach the files that are related to the selected documents

or
Select which files to attach in the message.
When you are finished, click Send.

The email is sent.
