Creating a Project from a Template

Follow these steps to create a project from a template, in AssetWise ALIM Web.
  1. From the Navigation pane, select the Home icon. The Create New card appears in the Content pane. For example,
  2. If more than one scope exists in the community, set the scope in which to create the project.
  3. Click Project. The Create a Project wizard opens.
  4. Select an approved project template and then click Create and edit.
    The Project page appears. For example,
  5. Enter the following required information:
    • Project Code – A unique code to assign to the project
      Tip: You can use a numbering mask and then click to automatically generate a code based on the specified format.
    • Name – The name of the project
    • Responsible Org. – The name of the organization responsible for this project.
  6. Select a Status for the Project. Your choices are: Suspended, Planned, Canceled, Authorized, and Completed.
  7. Depending on the template properties, you can expand available topics to add objects to the project.
  8. When you are finished, click Save. The project is created, and the Project page appears. For example,
