Registering a Prototype with ProjectWise

Once a document is affected by the change request, all the changes that need to be made are saved into prototype document. Once this document is created in AssetWise ALIM Web, it can be registered with ProjectWise.

Note: This task assumes that the prototype document has already been created. For more information about how to create a prototype document, see Change Management Using the AssetWise Engineering Designer.

Note: When the prototype document is created, the prototype file is copied from the ProjectWise As Built folder. Attribute mapping is also applied.

You can register a prototype document with ProjectWise in two ways:

from a prototype document
from a change request.
