You can publish the contents of a folder to a single
package. You can also publish a package from selected objects. The package
format can be HTML, CHM, or XML.
Packages are saved outside of
AssetWise ALIM Web, so that you can distribute
them to non-AssetWise users. Your administrator can give
you access to this location.
Note: To publish something,
you must have the
User Information >
Publish permission.
Note: Publishing requires
that your administrator installs the Publishing Service on the server and
enables it for this community. If you are publishing CHMs, your administrator
must also install Microsoft HTML Help Workshop on the server.
Note: Administrators can
monitor the progress of publishing jobs in
AssetWise System Management Console, in the
Publisher queue of the community.
